My husband was actually a match for a patient last year. We were all set to take him up there for the harvesting of marrow and then everything stopped. We never did find out what happened to that person.
Oh, that doesn't sound good for the patient unless they had two matches, which maybe they did. I've been on the registry for a little more than a year (I think). No call yet.
