I've got to confess that I have been about as lazy as one can get these days. It's taken me several days to undecorate from Christmas (sshhh... the boxes aren't even in the attic yet). And I've spent way too much time watching television or playing word games with friends. (I think it's time to step away from my phone for a while, to be honest.) But some of the time has been well spent, like talking to Hannah and my husband, cuddling with the dogs, cooking a little more than usual.
I got out my big girl camera a few times over Christmas break and decided to see what type of bokeh effects I could achieve. You're probably tired of Christmas photos by now, but here's one more....
I don't know about you, but I'm ready to get my house back in order. And I'm really ready to declutter. Too much "stuff" seems to be weighing me down. So that may be how I spend my last day of 2012. What about you?

I just wanted to pop by and wish you the happiest new year. May your 2013 be full of blessings, laughter, and happy surprises. Thank you for being a blog friend and a joyful part of my life.
I know..I can't believe how fast 2012 came and went! I took my tree down yesterday and cleared almost all the Xmas stuff out ( I still have all the Xmas cards out though...I like seeing those). I wish you a very happy and blessed 2013! Xoxo
all of our christmas everything just made a trip to the basement and it feels good to have it all put away.
here's to 2013....no pressure, but please be really nice to all of us !!
xo
What a beautiful photograph this is, Roban! You certainly did get some great bokeh.
This coming weekend will be the time for me to put away all of the Christmas decorations. Not a job I look forward to, but...
After that, I have a couple of days of rest, and then it's time to think about going back to work.
Time does go all too quickly.
I wish you and your family a very, very Happy New Year.
xo.
I liked the title to this post Roban! It reminded me of the Enya song "My My Time Flies"....which I have just put on my blog.
I read that de-cluttering is a marathon not sprint, if we want to achieve our goals and make a lasting difference. Little and often is the answer. It certainly makes sense to me.
Roban the holidays are meant to have many lazy days recharging our batteries, so feel no guilt my friend.
Oh btw your big girl camera takes marvellous bokeh shots.
Look forward to "talking" to you often in 2013.
Love, light and hugs.

Never tire of bokeh... Of any kind!! Happy New Year Roban! I start my new year by purging ... I go through each cabinet and drawer and just start throwing crap away... It's a good feeling! Xo
