Shades of Summer

I would love to tell you what I've been doing for the past three months, but it's really rather bland.... I've concocted blog posts in my head many times but never seemed to find the time to sit down at my computer and compose them. I've kept them close and have been at home just being a wife and mother, a sometimes housekeeper, well, I'm sure you understand how life just takes over at times and pulls one away from keyboards and monitors and mice.

Pictures always seem to tempt me back to the computer though. Especially pictures taken at the beach. So, here I am once again sharing my favorite subject with you... my daughter. I think she's gorgeous, and sweet, and smart, and about 100,000 other wonderful things. But for now I'll just leave you with it.

I hope you're enjoying your summer. I am.

I love how you used the picture of the girls jumping as the background for this page. Your sweetie is definitely beautiful.

I did have to laugh though when I saw the winter header and the summer post.

I have given up cleaning again. I will try again this weekend.

So glad you are back! I totally understand about coming up with blog posts but not having the time to follow through.

Your daughter is so beautiful and I love all the pictures you take of her. She has a real light in her eyes which always shines through in every picture.

So jealous of you at the beach! Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hello sweet friend!
Welcome back, it is always great to read a post of yours.
Love the scrapblog, it is very artistic and it goes without saying that your daugher is gorgeous.

I'll be arriving Friday 2nd July in Texas and will be enjoying my second summer this year....YAY!

By the time we meet in August I will probably have an American accent!!

Until then enjoy your summer, the beach, your walks and your family.

Big hugs
Peggy xxxxx

I was just dropping in to wish you and yours the happiest Independence Day. May your day be full! May you enjoy laughter shared with family, great food shared with friends, fireworks to make you gasp, a lump in your throat at the anthem, and a full and grateful heart at all we have been given. Happy Fourth of July, my friend!
