Happy that ...

I was thinking that most of us working folks kind of regret the ending of our weekends. Yes, I'm extremely grateful for my job, but at the same time, Sunday nights signal the end of extra time with my family and just puttering around the house doing my own thing.

To kick off the week on a happier note, I decided I would "happy that" for this post. As in...

I'm happy that my student teacher created lesson plans for this week (and that she'll be doing it again - x5 - as she completes her student teaching with me).
I'm happy that she and I got most of the grading done before the weekend.
I'm happy that I went to church on Sunday.
I'm happy that I heard birds singing early in the morning.
I'm happy that I got to spend time with my daughter, just chatting and being together.
I'm happy that my husband planned an outing for all of us on Friday that included music and food.
I'm happy that we had blue skies full of sunshine today even though rain is supposed to set in again this week.
I'm happy that I can be silly and listen to music and sing along even when I'm not that good of a singer.
I'm happy that there are people in the world who can sing well.
I'm happy that I can buy songs with just a couple of clicks on my phone and listen to them while I'm cleaning up the kitchen.

That's not everything I'm happy about, but at least it's enough to snap me out of my Sunday night blues. I hope that YOU have a happy Monday and a great week ahead!

Audrey Hepburn said "The most important thing is to enjoy your life - to be happy - it's all that matters".

Roban it sounds like you have the same outlook as Audrey.

The glass half full is a wonderful way to view life.

Surely lots of things to be happy about, and what a wonderful way to begin a week. :-)

I just love these roses. Almost the exact same color as ones my husband gave me last week for our anniversary.

Hope you're having a wonderful day!

Just listing your happiness makes you happier, doesn't it?

This past Sunday, I regretfully realized that it was Sunday (even though I did go to church) and lamented having to give up my lazy moment in exchange for going to work on Monday. However, I survived. (Are you singing now? - I am.)

Just think...Friday is a holiday and our weekend will be even longer. Woo Hoo!
